Melanoma skin cancer
There are three types of skin cancer – basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma.
Melanoma is the most dangerous form of skin cancer.
- Melanoma only represents 2% of all skin cancers but causes 75% of skin cancer deaths.
- Melanoma is the most common cancer in young Australians aged 15-39 years old.
